First of all, I want to congratulate Logan Seavey on his POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Championship this year. He’s a badass driver and an even better person. It was cool to be teamed up with him this season.
We ran a hard-fought 2nd place in points this year, with plenty of ups and downs, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. I feel fortunate and grateful to have finished second in points. Next year I plan to focus more on the positives and be better prepared to deal with whatever’s thrown my way.
Nothing I say can really show how good of a job Austin Brown does running his team. Everything they do is top notch, and I think it speaks volumes that two of his cars finished first and second in a national series points chase. Flea, Corey, Tommy, Jeff, Greg, and Larry do an incredible job making sure the cars are ready to rip. I can’t thank all them enough for everything they do.
I also want to thank my parents, and family for not giving up. In my eyes, I feel like it can be a burden for them sometimes, but they continue to believe in me, and that means a lot.
The points season is over, but I have a few other races left this season; Turkey Night Grand Prix in Ventura, CA on November 23rd. I’ll also be making my first trip to Australia to do some midget racing. I’m beyond excited for that opportunity and looking forward to releasing more details on that trip soon.
